Free Skincare - Sleep
Overnight is when your skin repairs its barrier, rebuilds cells, balances hydration and calms inflammation. No serum or cream can replace that window. Skincare supports the process — but sleep is what makes it possible.
The good news? You don’t need a complicated bedtime routine to sleep better. A few simple habits, done consistently, make a surprisingly big difference.
Here are 5 habits which keep me on the straight and narrow:-

1. Keep your phone out of the bedroom
This has been a real game changer for me. I now leave my phone outside the bedroom and use the alarm on my watch instead. It’s incredible how such a small barrier changes behaviour. When your phone isn’t right next to the bed, scrolling suddenly becomes… inconvenient. And that pause is often enough to stop it altogether.
2. Go easy on caffeine (especially later in the day)
This one comes with a confession.
I used to be addicted to Diet Coke. I’m talking cans from 8am through to 8pm — and then, ironically, I’d spend a lot of time complaining that I couldn’t sleep.
Although it’s not rocket science, ditching Diet Coke has been a total game changer for me.
Caffeine hangs around in the body far longer than we realise — often 6–8 hours — quietly stimulating the nervous system even when we think we’ve switched off. That can mean lighter, more restless sleep, and less time in the deep stages where skin actually repairs itself.
I don’t believe in deprivation. I do believe in noticing patterns.

3. Use a consistent, calming scent before bed
Your brain loves routine — especially scent.
Smell is one of the fastest ways to encourage relaxation. When you use the same calming scent each evening, your body begins to associate it with rest, making it easier to unwind.
This is why I love using Recovery Face Mask in the evening.
It’s designed to calm stressed, reactive skin and contains calendula, a beautiful plant known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties — perfect for skin that’s had a long day.
On nights when my skin feels dry, tight or depleted, I’ll reach for Nourishing Overnight Mask instead. It’s richer, deeply hydrating, and also contains calendula to help comfort the skin while you sleep.
It’s not about doing more.
It’s about doing the same small thing, every night.
4. Drop the “I can’t sleep” narrative
This matters more than we think.
Telling yourself you “can’t sleep” puts pressure on the moment. Your body shifts into problem-solving mode — which is the opposite of what sleep needs.
Language matters.
Try something softer:
“I’m resting.”
“My body knows what to do.”
Even if you’re awake, your nervous system begins to relax — and that’s where sleep often follows.

5. Soak in magnesium-rich bath salts
A warm bath is one of the easiest ways to relax the body — especially with magnesium.
Healing Bath Salts contain Epsom salts, which are naturally rich in magnesium. Magnesium helps muscles relax, supports the nervous system, and plays a role in sleep regulation.
Warm water also helps your body unwind physically, making it easier to switch off afterwards. Add calming essential oils, low lighting, and a few quiet minutes, and you’ve created the perfect transition from day to night.
The bath isn’t only about cleansing.
It’s about relaxing.
Sleep is skincare
Great skin isn’t created by doing more.
It comes from supporting your body — gently, consistently — and letting it do what it already knows how to do.
A calmer evening.
Better sleep.
And skin that looks (and feels) healthier because of it.
